Before paying a booking amount, ask to see the documents behind the property.
- Allotment or sale deed and the chain of ownership.
- Approved building plan and completion or occupancy certificate.
- Latest tax and utility receipts, and no-dues proof.
- Society or authority permissions, where required.
- Existing lease or tenancy agreements, if any.
